Vietnamese Grilled Chicken or Pork

1-1/2 pounds boneless pork or chicken
Marinade:
3 T minced shallots
1-1/2 T minced garlic
¼ cup brown sugar
1 T fish sauce
½ T soy sauce
½ T black pepper
3 T vegetable oil
Combine marinade ingredients. Marinate meat at least one hour – overnight is best. Grill meat. Enjoy.
