Apple Pie

2 9-inch pie crusts

12 to 15 Macintosh apples

sugar

cinnamon

dots of butter

a few drops of lemon juice.


Place bottom crust in pan. Slice apples, add a few drops of lemon juice and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Put apples in pan (make a heaping pile of them). Dot with butter and add top crust. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 and bake for 1/2 hour.
