Pizza Dough

1 pkg. yeast dissolved in 1-1/3 cup 85 degree water

4 cups flour

2 T oil

1 tsp salt


Soak yeast 10 minutes. Add other ingredients and knead for 10 minutes. Cover with damp cloth and let rise 2 hours. Roll out and add toppings. Makes 2 pizzas.

Lightly oil 2 pizza pans (about 14 inch round). Sprinkle cornmeal on pans. Stretch dough into pans and prick dough 6 or 7 times with a fork. Brush dough well with olive oil.

Add tomato sauce, grated cheese and any desired toppings. Let rest for 10 minutes. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.


To create pizza, Preheat oven to 400. Oil pans and sprinkle with cornmeal. Stretch dough in pan and poke with a fork in a few places. Brush with olive oil. Top with tomato sauce, cheese, toppings and rest for 10 minutes. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
