Miriam's Sesame Noodles

6-8 servings
1 lb spaghetti noodles
6 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
6 tablespoons sugar
4 tablespoons avocado (or other neutral) oil
6 tablespoons rice vinegar
6 tablespoons soy sauce (i used low sodium tamari)
3 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
crushed chilis to taste (1/2- 1 teaspoon?)
sliced green onions and sesame seeds (optional)
Cook pasta according to package directions.
Combine garlic, sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and chilis in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil and simmer (stirring) until sugar dissolves.
Pour sauce over noodles and mix it up. Sprinkle with green onions and/or sesame seeds if you have them around.
Note: Excellent served with Miriam's Baked Tofu and Miriam's Peanut Sauce along with stir-fried bok choy.
