Snow Peas with Red Peppers

1/2 lb snow peas

1 medium red pepper, cut in 1 inch pieces

2 T butter

1 clove garlic, minced

1/4 tsp fresh ginger, minced

freshly ground black pepper, to taste


Wash snow peas and break off stem ends. Place in steamer with red pepper slices. Steam 3-5 minutes until tender, but not soft. Drain. While vegetables are steaming, melt butter in small pan. Saute ginger and garlic for 1 minute. Pour sauce over vegetables. Season with pepper. Serves 3-4.
