Glicky's Noodle Pudding

4 eggs, separated

1/2 cup raisins soaked in hot water and drained (or more to taste)

12 oz. pkg. medium egg noodles, boiled and drained

1 cup sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 pint milk

1 lb cottage cheese, small curd

1/2 pint sour cream

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 lb butter

cinnamon


In large bowl, mix cooked noodles, egg yolks, sugar, salt, milk, cottage cheese, sour cream, vanilla, raisins and cinnamon to taste. Beat egg whites stiff and fold in. Melt butter and add to mixture. Turn into buttered baking pan. Sprinkle with more cinnamon. Bake 1 hour at 350.
